I realized last year that many people don’t know what I do in the other part of my writing life. While I write books and series, I also concept ideas via two companies I founded and launched a decade ago, Electric Postcard Entertainment and Cake Creative Kitchen. But today, I’m launching something special on Substack called CHAIN LETTER. Chain Letter is a short fiction platform delivering fresh, thrilling, and profoundly unsettling tales. Each story is masterfully crafted by bold and boundary-pushing voices in horror, thriller, dark fantasy, and speculative fiction. I’m excited to give emerging writers opportunities to work on paid IP short stories, novellas, novelettes, and serialized fiction to try to find other ways to help marginalized writers add to their resumes.
I’m mostly a scaredy cat. Terrified of scary movies, books, and stories, but I wanted to challenge myself to do the things I’m afraid of going forward.
